AISI 304 casings and die-cast brass end covers. Water-lubricated design. Rewindable windings.
Water-Filled Rewindable Submersible Motors
NF-W series water cooled motor. Stainless steel jackets, die-cast brass end caps, NEMA-compliant. Contact our team for specifications and factory quotes.
Die-cast brass end covers – Upper and lower brackets are made of die-cast brass with precision machining. Brass end covers resist oxidation and handle deep-well hydrostatic pressure.
Rewindable stator windings – The stator uses rewindable windings with high-insulation magnet wire. Allows on-site rewinding and maintenance, lowering total cost of ownership.
Dynamically balanced rotor – The rotor shaft undergoes machining and dynamic balance testing. Eliminates high-frequency vibration during operation, protects bearings, and reduces noise.
100% Eco-friendly water lubrication – Bearings and internal interfaces are cooled and lubricated by water. No risk of oil leakage. Suitable for drinking water and sensitive environments.
Operating Limits of water cooled motor
NF-W series motors operate within the following limits:
Max. Fluid Temperature: 35°C.
Minimum Cooling Flow Speed: 0.16 m/s across the stainless steel casing
Voltage Tolerance: ±10% of rated voltage
Installation: Vertical (deep well) or horizontal (booster)
Using Water Cooled Motor in Water Extraction
Municipal drinking water supply – Water-filled design meets public safety standards for municipal groundwater.
Deep borehole water lifting – Torque output for domestic and commercial water lifting from deep aquifers.
Agricultural and livestock irrigation – Pressure supply for crop fields, greenhouse systems, and ranch watering.
Engineering Insights & FAQ
Why choose a water-cooled rewindable motor over a canned/encapsulated motor?
Canned motors are sealed with resin. Water-cooled motors have a rewindable stator. If an electrical failure occurs after years of operation, the windings can be replaced or repaired by a standard workshop.
Does the internal water freeze in cold regions?
For shipments to northern or high-altitude regions, we can pre-fill the cooling chamber with a non-toxic antifreeze mixture. This prevents freezing damage and maintains lubrication during sub-zero storage.
What role do the brass end covers play in deep-well environments?
Submersible motors are exposed to groundwater minerals. Brass end covers resist galvanic corrosion better than iron brackets, preventing thread seizure and maintaining a tight seal over long periods.
Can these water-filled motors handle sandy well conditions?
Yes. The motor has an integrated rubber sand slinger and a reinforced shaft sealing system. This prevents sand and sediment from entering the water lubrication chamber, protecting the bearings.
