High Flow for Medium-Height Water Columns
In commercial fountain design, both height and water volume affect the visual result. The 4SP8 maintains a continuous water column at vertical heights of 15 to 30 meters.
Comparison with 4SP5 (5 m³/h):
When spray height exceeds 10 meters, a 5 m³/h flow can become thin and may be dispersed by wind. The 4SP8 provides 8 m³/h, which is 60% higher flow. This keeps the water column intact at the apex.
Comparison with 4SP14 (14 m³/h):
Within the power limits of a 4-inch borehole, the 4SP14 prioritizes flow over head. The 4SP8 offers a balanced combination of head and flow, making it suitable for large main jets in public plazas.

VFD response
Impeller inertia is calculated to work with NEMA standard motors. This allows pressure adjustments to follow audio signals.
Thermal management
Commercial shows require thousands of start-stop cycles. The oil-filled motor option provides heat dissipation to prevent overheating or demagnetization during Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) operation.

Above 15 m, flow below 8 m³/h creates a thinning, misty column. The 4SP8 delivers 8 m³/h to keep the column thick in wind.

Rapid VFD cycles cause thermal lag in standard pumps. The 4SP8 with oil-filled motor handles frequent start-stop without overheating.
